Here are a few terms and concepts related to custom t-shirts you may find helpful...
100% Cotton vs. 50/50
We provide custom t-shirts in various fabrics. Custom t-shirts in 100% cotton will be a bit thicker and softer. The benefit of adding a blend of polyester is less wrinkling and less shrinking. Both fabric types provide a great canvas for custom t-shirts.
T-Shirt Weight
You will often see different "Ounces" mentioned for custom t-shirts. This refers to the weight of one yard of fabric and indicates the thickness and density of the fabric. Fabric weights can range from 5 or 6 ounces in basic custom t-shirts to 10 or 11 ounces in heavyweight sweatshirts.
Ring Spun Cotton
This is a method of fabric production which results in softer feeling custom t-shirts. The Hanes Beefy-T, for example, feels softer to the touch than many custom t-shirts, making it a favorite when shirt quality and feel are a top priority. Ring-Spun cotton t-shirts cost a bit more but many of our customers consider the added benefits well worth the price.

Artwork For Custom T-Shirts
A big part of what we do is coordinate and "perfect" the artwork that will be printed on your custom t-shirts. This artwork must be in a certain format to allow us to process your order.
We require something called "vectorized" artwork. This basically means that a good 'ole jpeg will require some work before it can be used on your custom t-shirts. Other terms for the format we need are "AI or EPS file format with outlines". If you work with a graphic designer, they will know what this means.
We do provide artwork services that can convert that jpeg to the correct format. Just ask us about it. There may be an artwork fee depending on the work involved to prepare your art for printing on your custom t-shirts.
Design Options For Custom T-Shirts
Many of our customers come to us with custom t-shirts artwork that is ready to print. Others require some help in developing and finalizing artwork for their custom t-shirts. We can offer assistance in this area.
We also offer design development services. If you have an artwork concept for your custom t-shirts, we can help you complete the design. There may be an artwork fee for this service.
